Even though I'm an English major, every time I get assigned a paper, I panic! My comfort zone is creative writing, but analytical and critical essays literally make my heart pound.
But I switched around my own personal deadline for this paper (which is actually due the last day of exams) and I'm gonna get it done by tomorrow at 10:00PM. Even though I'm going to dinner with a friend, another friend is teaching me Buddhist chanting, and we are putting together the literary magazine today at my college using InDesign!! *happydance of utter excitement* It's going to be a lot of hard work, but I'm certain it will be a wonderful experience! Also I guess I chose attending the Senior Honors Thesis for English event over meeting a potential candidate for Director of Hillel next year and one of the current co-presidents asked me when he saw me in the library (the English event was in the library and I got there a little early) if I was going to meet the candidate….. so that was awkz saying I wasn't going. *sigh* But I'm definitely going both tomorrow and Thursday to meet both of those candidates for the position!! Which makes my conscience slightly cleaner and leaves me feeling quite a bit less guilty. :p
OH and also I'm considering taking a sociology class in the future! I definitely think I've become more politically and socially involved in equal rights and take a bigger interest in race/class/gender issues so I think it could be a really rewarding class for me! I shall look into it…. *wiggles fingers like a mad scientist* muahahaha!
But for now… paper writing awaits! It'll be a race against the clock, but a college lady's gotta do what a college lady's gotta do!
Until Next Time,
