How did you pick the name of this blog? I consider myself to be pretty "girlie", although yellow is my current favorite color (it used to be green, before that red,…) so the idea of pink just seems to work! The Wizard of Oz gave me nightmares for literally weeks as a child, to the point where I dreaded the idea of having to go to sleep at night. Eventually, graduating from kindergarten allowed me to graduate from that fear *happydance*. However, I apparently do a mean rendition of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow". I'd probably sing it for you if I wasn't such a scaredy when it came to singing in public!
What inspired you to start blogging? I was recently appointed Co-Blogmaster for my college's fashion magazine and I am the Blogmaster for my college's literary magazine. I love creative writing, and although I have a personal diary of my own, I also am a strong believer in sharing thoughts and ideas with other people. If I've inspired even one person halfway around the globe, I've done my job!
How do you get your hair to look like that? It's all in the genes…
What!? You have your real estate license!? To sum it up, the summer of 2013 I didn't have a job yet, but what I did have was a television that had cable access to the HGTV channel. There's only so many episodes of House Hunters a lady can watch without wanting to get in on the fun on her own!
What is your religion? Spiritually Buddhist, Culturally Jewish, Socially Christian.
You mention college all the time, but where did you go to high school? I attended boarding school for two years (I was a day student), then (luckily) transferred to a private day school for the next two.
What is your political affiliation? I've learned at a young age, be wary when discussing politics. If you'd like to know, send me a message asking!
What made you decide to become a vegetarian? A rather unfortunate incident with the Southern Georgia Peach Chicken at Community Lunch at boarding school…let's just say, the poor bird was practically still clucking. *winces*
Would you consider yourself a feminist? I believe in equal rights for all -- race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, etc. We're all born into the world human beings; therefore, we're all equal. We can't pick where we come from or where we've got, but we can pick what we do with it and what kind of a person we will be to others! Amen to that. Feminist? Yes. But I'm also pro-everyone else at the same time!
